Pianist & Organist
Gordon is a pianist and accompanist of over thirty years' experience and has worked in most situations at a very high level.
Pianist (Solo/Ensemble)
Gordon is an experienced orchestra piano/celesta/harpsichord player, having played with orchestras throughout Scotland - most prolifically the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra.
He is also a veteran background/cocktails pianist, either solo or as part of his duo, trio or quartet. Bookings include residencies at Gleneagles Hotel, Cameron House, Turneberry Hotel and London's Savoy.
He is a widely-experienced rehearsal and audition pianist and is a proficient and confident sight-reader and improvisor to a very high level.
Accompanist
Gordon has been in demand as an accompanist throughout his career, and has performed and broadcast prolifically in this role . Available for live concerts, recitals, recordings, and broadcasts.
He is an experienced reassuring and encouraging examination accompanist for all grades, from Grade 1 to diploma/degree level.

Organist
Gordon is well known as an organist, both as a church musician, and as a classical recitalist. He currently holds the organist post at St. Andrew's West Parish Church in Bath Street, Glasgow, where he presides over the magnificent three-manual David Wells organ.

He is also well-known and highly experienced as an exponent of the cinema (US theatre) organ, as a concert artiste and playing for ballroom dancing.
